What's going on around the studio? 5/15/2013

Well things around the studio are hectic as always, but we have tons of greatness to offer our players for it. Here are a few key things you may have missed:

• What's in the console is getting bigger every day! Make sure you take a look at some of our reviews to see what you are missing out on in the video game world. What's In the Console?
• Our resident mysteries and mythos expert Cris has been hard at work finding things that would even entertain the Elder Ones at the Corner Shop of Intricate Horrors.
• The previously mentioned expert also brought the group a new and instantly loved game using the Kult system. Take a look at the GR Playtest Group page to read up and possibly participate.
• Cris has also been inspired to add some more content for you to use on the Homebrew page. Also keep a look out for the Space Marine material to be updated with a new Melee Class.
• Don't forget to email WeHateBards@gmail.com and request to be added to our emailing list. Simply let us know what you are interested in participating in and we will message you whenever that comes up.

A New Day Dawns!

After much debating between the We Hate Bards members, and our many players, We Hate Bards has decided to bypass 4th Edition, and we will shortly begin playing D&D Next. Here are some of the other things going on around the office.

Update Thursdays 3/21/2013

Well folks, its that time of the week. I'm sure that by this point you realize that the most exciting part of update Thursdays is that tomorrow is Friday. Well we are right there with you so lets see what we are looking forward too:

• Gears of War: Judgment came out this week, What's in the Console? will have coverage as soon as the Grubs let up and we can find cover.
• Everyone is hard at work preparing for tomorrows big event. Let us know how long you think the party will live/stay sane at the Grand Rapids Play Test Page.
• We hate bards is still accumulating entries and ideas for our logo. Have an idea send it over to wehatebards@gmail.com who knows we might love it.
• After much anticipation and grief BioShock Infinite is finally being released next week. Cris is going to debut his reviewing skills with coverage next week at What's in the Console?. 
• The We Hate Bards crew will be all over Grand Rapids visiting several local gaming and comic book hang outs in the next two weeks to meet and greet with our fellow gamers. Stay tuned to Home and Hearth for where we are going next.

Weekly Updates 3/13/2013

We Hate Bards has a new conference table! This table is strictly for gaming purposes, no serious business allowed.
Here's what else we have going on:

• Ben is hard at work still hunting for that copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening
• We Hate Bards and the rest of the Grand Rapids Play Test Group will be breaking in their new gaming table all next week in preparation for the big Call of Cthulhu event on March 22.
• Our new member Jason has taken up the mantle of The Bearded Bard, though no one really knows why that is supposed to be a big deal.....
• More podcasts to come!
